Hair, Blinking and Eye animation for XPS models

Description

If the above doesn't work for you, or if it takes to long to load, here is a youtube video :

This is some kind of all-in-one animation that works for almost all (it should be all, but I'm better safe than sorry ^^) DOA models (and it should work with non-DOA models too, with mixed results). In the RAR file you can download below, you'll find 5 animations depending on where you want your character to look. They can look up, down, right, left, and in front of them. Just know that I set the eyeball bone names as "a" for the left one, and "b" for the right one, so you can easily activate / deactivate their eye animation without having to load a different animation. Thus you have to select "change bone names" and rename each eyeball, from top to bottom "a" and "b" (without the quotes) - don't worry : the new names won't be saved unless you save your generic_item afterwards. You can also clone your model to instantly recover its original bone names (and if you want, for example, to use the animation without the moving hair, you can just rename the parent "hair" bone to any other word or character. You can disable the blinking the same way, by renaming their eyelid upper bones).

I know some hair still won't move at all, but it's still a WIP and I plan to also add moving clothes in these animations (meaning that each pose file might end up being pretty huge, with lots of different bones for skirts, dresses, etc).

This animation should come in handy if you wish to create some kind of fan-movie, as it brings some life to your models :) (just play with the lightning to make their eyes look good ^^)

EDIT:

WTF, sorry about the above flash anim / GIF... ...Please bear with me while I try to fix it - it looked good when I created it.

EDIT 2:

Still working on a fix... In the meantime, I added a youtube video showcasing it in the description.

EDIT 3:

Alright, I turned it into an animated gif (pretty big : 53.4MB) so it should display properly now.

EDIT 4:

I give up guys... ...I changed that f***ed up flash animation to a normal gif, but the f***ed up flash animation is still up... Just look at the youtube vid, ok ? :p

Your youtube video can't be watched because it's marked private.

Anyways, you should use software that's easier and made for animation, like Unity (or even Blender). Unity even has a built in video recorder that works full speed even on slow systems. XPS never made any passable animations, it simply wasn't made for animation, just posing. Unity is made for beginners with full cinematics.
